Looney Tunes
I wanted to laugh when I got back from Subaru at 9:00 tonight, so I watched this to get a good laugh in. It always does it. "Hmmm mmmm!"

I had this long post typed out, then got an error message when I went to post it. On top of that my cell phone randomly decides when it wants to let me talk. So I'm done with technology tonight. Goodnight.

I love how we put "i" in front of things. iPod, iPhone, iTunes, iHate It, and the best "i" ever that I discovered today? iGoogle. I bet you've already seen it, or heard of it but I haven't before today. iGoogle makes the perfect homepage. I modded mine out to have a really great skin, along with my local weather, calendar, movie schedules, GMail inbox, and Youtube videos. I don't know how long this has been around, and why I haven't heard of it until now, but I like it.
Speaking of things I like, I REALLY like my new car. I borrowed a Chevrolet Trailblazer this afternoon to move boxes into my new crib, and yuck. Not only was that thing a gas hog, but it felt really sloppy and worn out with only 43,000 miles on it. After I was finished and got back into Crysta I felt where I belonged, in the tight seat of a zippy little Atomic Blue Civic with a warm blue glow of LED's behind the instrument panel. She sips gas too, unlike that Trailblazer that ate $20.00 and only gained 1/4 tank.

You did not invent anything new. And stop showing your commercials every 10 seconds. We all know your over-advertised over-priced phone is the best thing ever, but some of us don't want it and those that do surely know about it by now, so stop it. You asked "how did we live without it". Simple, I have a phone, I have a computer, and I have an MP3 player. I don't need all in one sacrificing the feasibility of one to use the other, so I'm fine. Leave me alone with your commercials already.
This week at work has been very busy with deadlines approaching Friday that I can't really do anything about, because I don't know the CAD language and I'm depending on other people to help me with my drawings and models. Hopefully they'll pull through.
I went over to Alex's apartment and played a board game. I don't remember the name of it, but these board games are called "Euro games". They're unline any other board game. They have themes and can be complex to play, but this one was really fun and I liked it a lot. He has an entire closet full of these games.
Tomorrow after work we have a softball game between our testing department and components department, and then a cook-out afterwards. It's at a guy's house who lives on a lake, and supposedly someone is supposed to get thrown in the lake. I'll let you know if it's me.

It's a phone, a music player, a planner, a web browser, a calendar, a texter...someone said it can also check your blood sugar. It's the iPhone...who spent $499 and bought one today (the cheap one)?
I know how Apple's mission is the make things as user friendly as possible, and I know they've been marketing that aspect about the iPhone...how it's so easy to use. When I turned on "The Today Show" this morning, little Merideth Viera pulled one out and said "Look what I have! Apple gave us these to demo". However, poor Meredith just started laughing and didn't even know how to use it. It rang, and she couldn't even answer it! I don't know if this is because Meredith doesn't know how to use a phone, or if it's not as easy as they say. Either way, not a good way to showcase your product. This phone was hyped up so much, I don't understand how it can meet the hype.
Work went well, pretty slow but relaxing. After work I came home, changed clothes, and wanted to go to an electronics store in Sterling Heights called Microcenter. It was a long way away, and I had to go through Detroit on the way back. I don't like that side of town so I'm glad I live on the west side of the metro area.
